Camera & Microphone Permissions

Microphone (required)

Needed for realtime speech-to-speech translations. Audio is processed only when you actively use voice features.

Camera (optional)

Used only for QR-code scanning to connect with users without typing usernames. No images or video are stored.

If denied, QR scanning will not work, but all other features remain available.

Permissions are requested at runtime and can be revoked anytime from device settings.

What data we collect

Account info: Email and authentication ID.
Audio: Voice input you provide for translation.
Text: Typed or translated text content.
Device/usage data: Crash logs, OS version, analytics.

All audio and images are encrypted in transit (TLS).
